RETURN, EXCHANGE OR CANCELLATION POLICY

At Kumbaya, we value your happiness and the trust you put in us. Our products are carefully made for you by our artisans. These products have been stitched by women living in the remote and backward villages of Bagli Tehsil, Dewas District, Madhya Pradesh. We assure you that our products are genuine and meticulously created to the best of our abilities.
 

A lot of the fabric we use is handwoven and crafted by artisans. Therefore sometimes there may be imperfections in the weave or print or stitch. Please do not see these as a defect but embrace them as a part of the beauty of something that has been created by the hands of a skilled artisan pitched against the homogeneity of industrial production. 
 

However, if any of our products is received as damaged or defective, or if the size does not fit, you can exchange or claim a refund for the item if it is unused and in the original packing along with the original tags.
 

We offer a full refund if the order payment was made by any payment mode available on the Kumbaya website. For this, we need to receive the package within 30 days from the delivery date. Items will only be accepted if they are not damaged, used or washed,with the original tags and in the original packaging. Our Return and Exchange policy is subject to the products sold by Kumbaya, with no exceptions for the third-party sales. Any changes in the policy will reflect on this page.
 

Further details are followed:

  • If a package was received damaged or defective or not as described, you can request a replacement at no extra cost.

  • Our returns are covered by a 30 day refund or replacement guarantee.

  • You will have to place the refund request within the 30 days from the delivery of the package.

  • Replacement is subject to stock availability. If the stock is not available for the product, we will fully refund the amount for the product ordered.

  • Customers can place the request for cancellation within 24 hours after placing the order.
     

Return procedure:

  • Kindly place the return request on your Kumbaya Account on the website within 30 days

  • Customer support team will confirm the request and will inform via an email or SMS about the pickup process

  • Please make sure that the product is unused and in original condition, including all the original tags, labels, packing and invoice along with the product

  • Our delivery partners will come to pick up the package after receiving a return request  

  • If you want to opt for replacement of the product, whatever may be the reason, we fully support this decision but will be subject to stock availability

  • Our courier partner will make 2 attempts to pick up the product in the next 4 days of request placed. After multiple failed attempts, you’ll have to place the request again

  • Made-to order, customized products and orders bought on sale cannot be replaced or returned

  • In most locations, we offer a free pick-up service. You will see a pick-up option when you submit a return request.

  • A customer may also opt to do self-shipping of items to be returned/exchanged, subject to the Returns and Exchanges Policy.

  • Quality Check: During pick-up, our agent will do a mandatory quality check on the item/s being returned/exchanged.

  • Once the item has been received at our warehouse and has passed a quality check, the refund will be initiated. The refund will be done through the customer’s bank account in which case he/she should select the account to which refund should be made.
